A 33-year-old sailor was arrested by the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell on 27 December, 2013 for charges under Section 509 of the IPC and 66A of the IT Act.
Subash Dutta had repeatedly harassed a 30 year old married woman by repeatedly calling her from various numbers. Dutta had allegedly sent abusive SMSs and made obnoxious calls to the woman. Thereafter, upon complaint made by her with the Malkapuram police, he was arrested.
